At ADL Process we have wide-ranging
experience with community environment days.
These events allow individuals and small businesses
in the community to bring in old electronics that
would other wise pile up in their homes or offices
taking up precious space OR end up in landfills.
This allows these electronics to either be reused or
properly and safely recycled.
Many individuals are uncertain or unaware of where
or how to dispose of old electronics. Planning
a collection day is an excellent way to get
community involvement and to educate people about
electronics recycling.
ADL will help organize the collection and help to
clearly plan out the
day(s) of the event.
Everything from explaining how the day(s) should go
over, to ensuring that adequate staffing is
available and to explaining what safety equipment
will be needed for staff and volunteers helping out with
the event. We will come out to the site to
evaluate the space and to determine the most
efficient layout for the collection equipment.
On the day of the event, ADL employees will be available
to help with the collection. Employees are there
before collection begins to help set up and to bring in
equipment that will be needed throughout the day.
Trucks for transportation from site to recycling facility,
pallets and bins for sorting and collecting, along with
moving and loading equipment are provided. Employees
are there to help ensure that everything runs as efficiently
as possible and to answer any questions your staff or anyone
else may have. We will show your staff how to safely
collect and sort electronic waste that is brought in.
ADL employees will load the equipment to ensure space
maximization and to prevent damages that may occur during
transportation. After all trucks are loaded equipment
is brought back to ADL’s facility where items are sorted
further and are put through the ADL Process.
