Equipment received at the facility is weighed and labeled so that it can be tracked through the process. This information is entered into our system along with a job number so that any information that the customer is looking for can be reported back to them; including where their waste is throughout the process.

ADL’s qualified employees are trained to safely disassemble electronic waste manually. This simplified process allows for the maximum recovery of raw materials, ensures that hazardous materials are handled and disposed of safely and that no energy wasting machinery need be used unless it is necessary. With this method ADL can accomplish 100% landfill diversion and can make any necessary adjustments to the process with minimal expenditures.

The materials that are recovered from the disassembly
process are the following categories:

Sorted Types of Glass

Recyclable Plastics

Ferrous and nonferrous metal

Hazardous Materials that must be handled properly

Basic Materials that are recovered as mentioned above are sent off to ADL approved recyclers.

ADL sends hard drives, and any other pieces of equipment with sensitive information stored on it, to be professionally destroyed. We receive a Certificate of Destruction form the company and will provide one to any customer who requests one.

We are always looking ahead, paying special attention to the quickly evolving electronics market and changes being made in legislation that will eventually affect the whole of the electronics industry.
